Major Website has been contracted to produce a Flash CD with voice over for the ABC Greater Houston Area 40th Anniversary. The slideshow will show about 70 images and last 8 to 9 minutes. I had given a lecture on Email Newsletters to the association a few months ago. This was a referral from Lawrence Jacobs, Financial Advisor, with the Principal Financial Group®
I will be giving a lecture on April 14th for the Brazos Valley Professional Photographers Association.
The topic of my program is, “Getting Your Name Out There”
This is a business presentation on doing business in the 21st century. With the problems we have in today’s economy it is not enough to just have a listing in the yellow pages, attend a few bridal shows and do a bulk rate mail out. You must put your name out everywhere that you can. Having a website is just the start of promoting your business. In this program Major will go over the importance of social and business networking, creating a blog, writing articles, how to send out a legal mass email newsletter, attending events, becoming the expert resource for your clients and so much more. A reader in China wrote, “It is so sad. It is so happy! I must to print pages again. My tears make ink run. I cannot see words.”
Comments from other readers have been just as compelling:
“I laughed and I cried at the no holds barred emotions.”
“Wonderful, inspiring book.” “A gem of a story.” “Touching.” “Compelling.”
“I was stunned by your finish.”
Finally, two readers summed up “No Price Too Great” this way:
“If you’re looking for a gritty, touching love story, you’ve found it. “No Price Too Great” is a surprisingly strong read.”
“I want to say it is just your eloquent writing – but something else is at work. Your writing is superb!”

I wish I had a few images to show you of Peanut’s first bath with me yesterday but I had my hands full. Peanut was becoming a stinky little dog so I decided it was time to give him a bath. Please note that I am a new puppy daddy and have never given a bath to any little fur person before. So I had to just figure out first if I would give my dear little friend a bath in my bathtub or in the kitchen sink. Well Peanut is a little guy even though he thinks he is a big boy. He tries to tell me all of the time that “Size Doesn’t Matter”. By nature a Chihuahua is a bred of fur persons that is fearless. In other words, this pint-sized pet is master of his universe and fears nothing. I do know that he is not happy when I bring out the vacuum cleaner or a remote control toy car. I picked the kitchen sink. We ran some warm water in the sink and added some doggy shampoo then I picked up Peanut and set him in the water. As brave as he is the poor little guy was shaking as I gave him his bath. I kept one hand on the back of his neck to keep him from shaking off his coat and kept telling him that he is a very good boy. After the bath I dried him off and then took a blow-dryer and finished the job. Much to my surprise he didn’t mind the blow-dryer at all. As he set on my lap I took a hairbrush and gently brushed his head and body. He loved being brushed. Chihuahuas like to stay warm so I took an old blanket and placed it on the floor next to my desk. He lay down and I covered him. He stayed in the blanket until I got up and he followed me back to the kitchen. He was a very happy little boy and so was I with a good smelling Peanut.
I have added the photographic evidence for you to view.

About three weeks ago I adopted a little one year old dog by the name of Peanut. He is a cute little guy that is very loving and playful. I decided that it would be fun to start a blog about this little fur faced fellow.
I must warn you though. It is very hard to write while a puppy is sitting on your lap trying to help you type.
Peanut is a part Chihuahua and ?. I received him from my mother who received the little guy from my niece who could no longer keep him. It has been a very interesting experience (or should I say battle to see who is the pack leader in this house) so far with him. He and I are starting to know each other and what we both expect from one another. I am getting well trained now and Peanut knows it!
My plan is to write a little bit about my experiences with my dear little funny friend as time allows in different chapters here on my blog .
Peanut and I are just having fun.
